I bought this to have a play and some fun in a local river, adding a new dimension to outdoor time.After watching a YouTube video on how to pan for gold, I took off and loaded my pan with 'stuff'. I gently (probably too gently!) sifted away the dirt and, to my absolute astonishment, my first pan resulted in three minute flecks of gold!The gold wasn't worth keeping (I think I'd have struggled to pick it up), but the buzz from finding gold using such an archaic system was fantastic.If you'd like to have a bit of fun then give it a bash, but don't expect to strike it rich (but if you do, remember that I reviewed this pan in a positive light!)

Very good. Strong enough for job and made from thick enough plastic.Took nearly a month to arrive though.

Grades well gold from black sand.
