The battery doesn't hold a charge.when I had it installed in my laptop. Seems like I got ripped off..

I have installed the battery and it has a perfect fit, just as described. I have used it for about an hour and so far so good. I expect it to have a good service life.

I'm submitting this edit to my initial review. At first, I was dissapointed by the battery. It didn't work and didn't appear to charge. I pulled it out, reseated it and paid particular attention to the cables going to the mouse and keyboard in the Asus laptop this battery was purchased for. I'm happy to report that all is well. Be aware, depending on your model Asus, it's a PITA to replace the battery. It doesn't come out easily. Be patient, and be very careful that you don't disconnect the ribbon cables for either the mouse or keyboard (it happened to me). So, so far, so good. Hence I've changed my recommendation.

Works great. Had a good charge to start. Charged quickly to full power. Not very easy to replace. Need to be familiar with circuit connections for the best results.
