Crisp, clear TV sound. Great companion for small TVs. Hi
First of all, if you are looking for a Bluetooth speaker to listen to music from your smart phone or tablet, this is not going to satisfy. The Bluetooth connectivity works fine, but the high end is hyped and it can sound bright enough to be harsh to the ears. On the other end of the audio spectrum, it does not meet my definition of “built - in subwoofer”. It does OK with bass, but you’re not going to get impressive bass in music or for in TV use, thunder or explosion sounds like you would get from a $200 or up two - piece sound at/subwoofer set. I looked at frequency components output by the speaker using a pro audio frequency analyzer display on my iPhone, and it looks like it has output down to about 125 Hz. Not great, but decent for typical TV viewing. If you want powerful bass in a small package, a JBL Flip - 5 will reach down to 65 Hz and is a good choice for a Bluetooth music speaker. But that will cost you about 4X the price of this soundbar.I bought this because I have hearing loss, and the sound quality from my 32” bedroom flat screen TV speakers is atrocious making listenin to TV audio even more difficult. I was missing SO much dialog! This soundbar improved my TV audio experience immensely! As I mentioned above, it has a very bright, crisp sound that emphasizes speech. I didn’t expect a flat, wide frequency response from this speaker like I expect from speakers that I listen to music a lot on. My wife says it is listenable with music, though. If you want to enhance TV sound on a small TV without spending much money or taking uo a lot of space, this soundbar meets the need well and is the best value I’ve seen in it’s category.

Great bang for the buck! Just note not everyone gets an optical cable.
For the price, I am really impressed with it. So glad to no longer hear case vibrations from my TV for certain voices. I did buy this one as per some reviews they mentioned that it does come with an optical cable, and even in one review video, shows one, plus what looks to be a user manual. BEWARE, either they stopped, or there is different varieties, and Amazon is merging their reviews together. (seen this before), this review is for the product that in the address bar above a URL of https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08BJB2K7L/The box looked to be a new packaged item (ie, doesn't look returned), and had the speaker, the AC adapter in a box, the remote (as mentioned, no AAA batteries) and a 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio cable and 3.5mm to L/R RCA cable. No optical cable. No manual on use. It did have the multi language warranty card.Since there was no optical, I used the headphone jack on the TV for now easy to set up (if you also didn't get a manual, that input is green light). I'm not sure the other lights, but since blue flashes, I assume that mode is Bluetooth waiting for pairing. One plus side, at least on my Roku Element TV, the power button on the remote also sends the IR signal that powers the TV as well (in testing the |<< button triggers Volume down on the TV. )The level of volume is quite good, while there is no indicator for volume level, I don't believe I have maxed it out yet before it got too loud. Big improvement over the stereo I was using, which CDs and radio played loud, but AUX in levels, like many devices, just have too level. Not with this speaker. I paired it to my phone to play music, also plenty of volume. (note, my Echo Dot does sound better IMO, but still very decent)Update now that I have an Amazon Basics optical cable, I can confirm the "orange light" mode is the one for optical input. I had left the label on top of the speaker that explained what settings you need to use for optical output, but for my TV, it worked right on hookup. I decided "well for future reference, I'll gently peel that label off of the top of the speaker, and stick it to the back of it. MISTAKE, for "future reference", i should have taken a picture of it. Why the heck did they not use a label designed to be peeled off?? no mater how gentle I was, every corner ripped apart the sticker. I ended up soaking it with Windex and using an old credit card to scrape the label off... Man, way to ruin suck a happy experience with the product.

Easy hookup and definitely worth the money.
I have a powerful music system for listening to music videos on TV, I can blow the windows out if I wish. However, sometimes that's way to much, and since I bought my new Spectre 50 inch tv which I really like , but the sound is terrible , I decided to buy this sound bar. To be honest I didn't expect much for the price, but since I have a real sound system I didn't want to spend a lot of a sound bar because there is nothing that can compete with what I have already. But I got to say for the money it's definitely worth it and surprisingly it's got decent bass for its side. It's got multiple hook ups and its own remote , so once again for the money you can't go wrong especially if you don't want to invest big money. Yes I definitely recommend it.
