These Northyard athletic shorts are exactly what I was looking for! The fabric is lightweight, breathable, and dries super fast—even after a sweaty workout. I especially love the zippered pockets; they’re secure and perfect for carrying my phone or keys when I’m on the go. The fit is true to size, and the waistband is comfortable with just the right amount of stretch.I went with the 7-inch version, and they hit at a great length—not too short, not too long. They’ve held up well through multiple washes, and I ended up ordering another pair because I liked them so much.Highly recommend if you’re looking for solid, affordable workout shorts that don’t sacrifice quality!

Great shorts! Bought my first pair to use as running shorts. Bought the second pair for casual wear. They fit great, are fairly light weight and the material is good. The zippers work fine and although it’s a little tight I can put my iPhone 16 pro max in them. I wouldn’t wear these around if you’re expecting shorts with deeper pockets but they work well for me especially for the price point.

I got the 7-inch shorts in Greyblue for a family member, and he’s been wearing them a lot. The color is nice—not too bright, just a clean blue-gray that looks good with everything.The material is lightweight, stretchy, and breathable, so he stays cool and comfortable whether he’s working out or just hanging out. He says they dry fast, which is great after sweating. The waistband has a drawstring that helps get the fit just right.What he really loves are the zippered pockets. There are two on the sides and one in the back, all big enough to hold his keys, phone, and wallet without anything falling out. That makes these shorts super practical for running, hiking, or everyday wear.The little reflective strips are a nice touch too — good for when he’s out early or late. Overall, these shorts are solid, comfy, and useful. He’s happy with them and I’d recommend them!

Bought these shorts in 7 different colors and I love them. They’re very comfortable, feel light, dry quick, and are not restrictive around the thighs which is great during leg workouts. My only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the pocket zipper. While the zipper itself is fine and the pocket size is great, the little cloth flap that acts to cover the zipper tends to get caught in it. So far I’ve been able to just move it around and get it unstuck, but I could see that potentially being an issue later on. This was not a deal breaker for me since I initially got 3 colors and identified this issue but still ordered more because I liked the shorts that much.

Really good shorts, great feel, fit true to size. Good quality zippers. 9” was good for men like me who don’t think showing your knees is good…. lol

This is the 3rd pair of these shorts I have purchased. They are breathable, comfortable and wash up perfect. The first pair has been washed 10+ times and still looks brand new. These are my son's favorite pair of shorts, they can be dressed down for a day of fishing or can be dressed up to be more casual to go out to eat.They are true to size and well made.

I really like them! I ordered the 7 inch in length and they fit perfectly just above my knee. I got the large and usually wear between 34-36 in the waist. The material is nice, thin, and breathable. Pockets are big and I love the zippers to keep stuff in my pockets while hiking! I ordered two pairs and ended up buying four more after liking the first pairs so much. I also did not have an issue with any of the shorts being different lengths in the different colors.

Even after a full session of stretching and bending in ways I didn't think possible (ouch, by the way), I stayed cool, dry, and comfortable. They're flexible enough for Pilates but tough enough for basketball or hiking, if that's your thing.After wearing them once, I immediately went back online to snag another pair. That alone should tell you something. Great shorts, masculine style, solid quality, and perfect for guys stepping out of their comfort zone into Pilates studios everywhere. Highly recommend!
