The comfiest shoes I have ever owned with great support. And the width was a little bit big for me but they most definitely came in handy when I twisted my ankle and had to use an ankle brace. There was enough space in the shoe and it didn't feel too tight even with the brace on. The color goes with almost anything, and it didn't cause any blisters on the back of my ankles like most shoes do.

And yes…my Dad did wear these :) so, it is with great nostalgia that I slip these on every day. They are so comfortable. I won’t say that they age too gracefully in terms of looks, but they do only get more comfortable with time. They start off quite bouncy and perky feeling, then mellow into a more cushioned, low-key feel. Much like our faces as we age… Anyway, I have gone through maybe 3 or 4 pairs in the last 8 years (I average 2 years per pair with almost daily wear…not bad?) and won’t be stopping anytime soon.

Really good looking terrific shoe. I didn’t want shoes that look like old lady or an American tourist in Europe and these certainly don’t look old lady or like an American tourist in Europe. They look stunning and they are very, very comfortable well-made.

very comfy— wore them for a Europe trip, and they did great! got a small blister from the tongue rubbing the skin above my sock, and these are pretty high on the foot, so linger socks recommended. otherwise perfect!

I have been wanting these shoes for a year and a half, and I waited until the weather warmed up here in Ohio to purchase these in gray and white. I highly recommend the iconic gray and white. I ordered the 9 1/2 because for some reason in athletic shoes I need a half size up. I took a star off only because I will have to purchase socks that go above the cuff. I would give these shoes a 4.5. The shoes do provide good arch support and overall comfort; however, the back cuff rubs around my Achilles tendon. I have a more narrow heel. I am hoping that as I wear the shoe, this discomfort will go away.Otherwise, I am very pleased with the look of the shoe, as well as the overall support that I expect from New Balance. I don’t know that I personally would use these for walking/exercise. They are more of a fashion shoe to wear out to run errands, attend events, etc.

These are my fourth pair of this style shoe just in a different color and I just love them. They look great on and are so comfortable. I have flat feet and they work best for my foot. They have fun colors so you can have multiple pairs. Highly recommend and they are true to size definitely great value for your money.

When my 4-year-old walking shoe of this brand and similar style recently lived out its life, I knew I would buy another. Like my last one, this one is also very comfortable and true to size as I have bought in the past. Although not indicated as such in the description, the outer material does appear to be suede with mesh. Although the color is lighter than my last one, I do like this color - it compliments most casual-wear. About the only thing I did not care for in the styling is the white tag on the tongue - but, fortunately, with slacks/jeans it is covered. Overall, nice looking, comfy shoe!

My daughter and granddaughter have these shoes and I loved them so I bought me a pair and they are the best shoes I have ever owned. Very comfortable, lightweight and durable.
