Covers up glaring color difference temporarily
We have a Costco brown leather sofa set. After a few years it is peeling after normal wear and tear by 2 adults and 1 small dog. The balm does fix the glaring color difference, but the balm only temporarily covers up the cloth that is stained. The color stain lasts about 6-9 months. Looks good from a distance and in low lighting. BTW, will not buy leather furniture from Costco again. I also tried the Pine Green color, but it is really bright and did not work with my sage green leather.

Pleasantly Surprised
The product worked as promised. My father and I enjoyed doing something ourselves to restore this interior of this car that no shop could match.

Worked well, colored with several coats
I liked the color tone and easy application. Just condition the leather prior to coloring. If you condition after, it disolves the coloring coating.

Rescued an old leather sofa
Worked well and recolored bare worn spots on an old couch - leather was sound but dogs had worn off the color in spots.

Easy to use, gorgeous result!
I had a grey leather bag that faded to almost a blue green denim. The first pic shows the colors about half way through so you can see what I started with. I wasn’t keen on the faded blue color but also didn’t want to let it go because it was an expensive gift, and we’ll made item. I decided to take a chance on this stuff and I’m so glad I did! I put the darn brown balm over the faded blue and the result is stunning! Easy to use, easy cleanup, very little smell. It dries quickly and is pretty forgiving. I’d recommend gloves because my nails may be a little stained. Overall, this was totally worth it and my bag is prettier than ever!

Colorant kit
Balms will wipe off most leather material. After waisting money on balms I did more research- a colorant kit was needed for my recliner. You can purchase this through furniture clinic website. At the time of my purchase I was told the color matching/colorant kit was only available UK, which I had to pay shipping. You may want to contact them through email first.A sample leather from my chair cost me about $2 USD to send through USPS.Images-I attempted to clean my chair with a leather cleaner. The front edge of cushion color came off. The image is darker, taken with a different camera. Tried to repair with balm (which also removed the natural color)With colorant kit you remove the natural color/wax/finish to prep for the colorant being put on.Once putting the colorant on you use the sponge for 1 coat. My issue with this was the large crease on my chair in the middle. The center of the crease was not taking any colorant. So I kept adding colorant to the sponge trying to get it in this crease. All this did was result in a large dark spot around the crease, as multiple layers of colorant absorbed in the leather. THIS DOES NOT COME OUT. I tried using the natural removing chemicals it came with and it would not budge at all. Because of this large dark spot I had to use multiple layers of colorant over the entire cushion to blend it all. Which made this cushion a full dark brown instead of a speckled dark brown. (See image)TIP- if an area does not absorb colorant you can use a soft art paint brush to add color to that area before spraying colorant or just leave and wait to see results when spraying the colorant on with the air brush. Overall I’m content with results. Hope this helps! Good luck!

If you have scratches on a dark leather sofa this will fix it!
We have 2 leather couches and our dogs scratched them up really good. I thought about hiring a leather/vinyl person to come in and fix them. I decided to try this as a last resort. I am sure glad I did! This stuff makes both couches like new. I wished I took before and after pics but honestly I was pretty skeptical about the performance of this product so I didn't bother. It comes with two applicator sponges so I used one of those to apply the product. Waited 10 minutes like the instructions said and buffed it out using an old t-shirt. The results are amazing! While it won't eliminate the scratches in their entirety the difference in such a short time with low effort was amazing! Unless you are specifically looking for the scratches you won't see them. The other concern I had was that the color might rub off on clothing. No such issue! The one word of advice that I would have would be to do multiple light coats rather than one heavy coat. The result is more even coloration of the area. While I might need to reapply this over time, they have provided a large jar so there is plenty more left for the future. Not many products I have bought have performed this well. If you have scratches on your couches, try this before hiring a professional to fix them!

Fantastic!
I do not normally write reviews, but l am so pleased with the results of this product l felt l had too. I have a 25 year old large corner sofa. It was looking tired after many years of general wear and tear from dogs and children growing up. I have wiped it down on a weekly basis and given it an occasional bit of TLC, but that's been it. After re-decorating our lounge, l thought the sofa needed bringing up to scratch too, so l bought this product in dark brown. I applied the product with a damp clean dish cloth after completing a test patch on a cushion. I left it to dry as instructed for 10 minutes. I then used an old tea towel to buff it up. I only used approximately 6th of the jar, so will have plenty left for further treatments if needed. Perfect!.

Works great.
Brought cracked faded leather car seats back to ,almost new, condition. Good coverage. I treated two car seats and have used about a third of the tub. Excellent.

Mission accomplished
Just used half a tub of 'dark brown' on this old scuffed sofa that we were embarrassed to sit guests on - but equally couldn't afford to replace. The transformation's incredible. Why didn't I do this four years ago?? So easy to apply. Left it a couple hours, rebuffed with a clean cloth, and no trace of residue coming off at all. Result!!

Great product
We had a mark on the sofa where over vigorous cleaning has scraped the top layer of leather off and it was a much paler colour. This leather dye has restored it perfectly and wish I’d known about it years ago. When you apply, 1 layer is slightly paler then 2 layers were the perfect match for my medium brown reddish sofa. Easy to use, great stuff.

This product works -use the reviews to help pick the right colour!
A little goes a long way. I nearly ordered two pots but restrained myself. I have only used about a third for a sofa and a chair and a pouffe. It looks immense. My husband didn’t notice but I had my hair coloured the same day and he didn’t notice that either so don’t be put off by that. I can’t recommend enough. My suite looks so much better and I do too even if Mr C can’t see it.
