Multiple Purpose Use
Liquitex is a suitable product for sealing paintings, and I sometimes use it as a sealant for silk flowers before embedding them in a resin mold. The flowers last longer when an adhesive is applied to them. Otherwise, they can refuse to stay spread out the way you want them to. On my paintings, it gives them a high-gloss shine, as they are sealed. I use them for silk leaves in displays as well. There is nothing wrong with a bit of shine on autumn leaves. I love the price.

Best varnish!
This is the best varnish to use for my painted rocks and shells! It even works on things painted with alcohol inks. You do have to wait at least 5 to 7 days before varnishing over alcohol ink, though. I paint mostly now with acrylic paint pens, and I only have to wait two days before varnishing, sometimes even the next day. I use 2 to 3 coats. If I’m varnishing painted shells for necklaces, I always add at least three coats.

Excellent product, will definitely purchase again in the future.
Excellent! Follow the directions and you won't have any problems. Also, a little goes a long way. I put a thin coat over an acrylic painting, and the results exceeded my expectations. I believe it gave my painting a richer more vibrant appearance. Note: I used a foam roller instead of a traditional brush. I ended up with no streaks and no evidence that I even applied the varnish/medium other than the enhanced colors.

Great finish
This is great for painting. Has a really nice coat and is super glossy. I’ve used it for multiple paintings. The price is perfect for the amount can do a hand full of painting depending on size of canvas.
