When I was pregnant I was looking for a solid comb I could use when giving birth. (Basically you squeeze the comb in for hand and the discomfort caused in your palm can help distract you from contractions.) i put this comb in my hospital bag and it worked how I intended it to. I managed to go unmedicated through my birth and while that wasn’t all just the comb I say it helped. If you’re looking for a comb for the same purpose this will do the trick.

Perfect size for thin hair.

The teeth of the brush are spaced too closely to effectively detangle hair. I tried using it on my thin, fine hair, but it didn't comb through. I know it's pocket-sized, but it may be too small for someone with larger hands to use comfortably. I have small hands, and I still found it awkward to grip.

I've come back to write a review six months later because this comb is my best friend! I keep it in my purse and it's just the right size to stay in there and be unobtrusive. The wood feels good in my fingers and it hasn't chipped, stained, or broken from almost daily use in 6 months. Honestly surprised with the quality for the price, very happy with it!
